The 50th edition of Vinitaly will take place in Verona<\/strong>, from April 10th to 13th<\/strong>. Dating back to 1967, Vinitaly is<\/strong> the world’s top trade show in the wine sector and it is exclusively intended for a professional audience<\/strong>. The event is part of VeronaFiere and it attracts thousands of national and international firms, producers, experts and stakeholders. Over 4000 companies will be attending Vinitaly this year and there will be plenty of opportunities to sample local products, meet world-class experts and celebrate wine not only in its capacity as a fine product and valuable export, but also as a vital element in Italian culture. This edition is in itself a celebration, both of an impressive milestone \u2013 marking half a century of trade shows and wine-related events \u2013 and of the new goals that Vinitaly as a brand has set itself. Each day will be packed with events, shows, seminars, classes<\/strong> and press conferences<\/strong>. Wine tastings<\/strong> will naturally be a vital part of the visitor experience, as they can serve multiple purposes: from the presentation of new products<\/strong> to educational projects<\/strong>. Food<\/strong> will also play an essential role, as several local restaurateurs will provide special menus<\/strong>, to coincide with the event, matching wines by exhibiting producers to specially designed culinary creations.<\/p>\n Over the years, Vinitaly prompted a number of international events, that have contributed to the evolution of the whole wine industry.<\/p>\n
