2017 is rolling at full steam and everything is business as usual which, in Milan, means there’s so much to do we hardly have time to breathe in between trade shows and exhibitions<\/strong>. The city is buzzing and bustling with ideas, innovation, creativity and opportunities. The next big event that is drawing our attention is the 2017 edition of M.A.D.E., the biennial International Trade Show for Architecture and the Construction Industry<\/strong>, which will be hosted in the Rho Trade Fair Grounds from March 8th to 11th<\/strong>. This must-attend trade show works as a hub for highly skilled professionals and companies and has been known to create business opportunities and foster market growth and innovation<\/strong>, through multiple useful and interesting initiatives aimed at connecting visitors and exhibitors from all over the world. One event, four exhibitions<\/h3>\n

M.A.D.E. actually comprises four major exhibitions<\/strong>, thereby dividing the event into four areas of interest and allowing visitors to focus on different areas of expertise separately<\/strong>. This structure has proved particularly beneficial when it comes to business opportunities, as it makes it easier for exhibitors to meet potential clients and business partners, while maintaining open channels of communication for a more global, cross-industry approach. The four sections of the event are dedicated respectively to Construction Materials, Building Envelope Windows, Interior Finishings and Software, Technologies And Services<\/strong>. All will involve conferences, workshops and demonstrations of new products and techniques, recent discoveries and updates in laws and regulations regarding the industry in an international scenario. Several events will be attached to each section’s programme.<\/p>\n

Sustainability, as is the case in several industries, will be among the most highly debated topics in this edition of M.A.D.E.<\/strong>, with companies showcasing recent scientific advances and the product of extensive research in this field. Every aspect of construction is involved in the quest for sustainability: from new materials to the use of renewable energy in the construction process, from the design process to the need to redefine work environments, thus tangentially touching a number of other industries. Technology<\/strong>, of course, is going to be widely discussed<\/strong>, particularly with regard to the updating of processes and the quest for efficiency and safety in the workplace<\/strong>, as well as new and exciting means of turning even the wildest designer’s dreams into tangible reality.<\/p>\n

Facts and figures<\/h3>\n

The 2015 edition of M.A.D.E. attracted over 200.000 visitors and nearly 1.500 exhibitors from all over the world. Architects and designers were the most represented categories, followed by engineers and engineering companies and contractors. The attending companies obtained excellent press coverage, as the international press covered the event with over 1000 releases and over 700.000 users visited the event’s website and social media pages during the trade show.
