Corporate travel, conferences, team building events: until a few months ago we would never have imagined we were going to be organising any of these activities again in 2020. And yet, as this long summer drew to a close, we found ourselves happily creating unforgettable experiences for our clients \u2013 while keeping them safe at all times. Recently, for instance, we organised the annual CEO meeting of leading real-estate firm IAD. For this unique event, we chose one of the most beautiful destinations in Italy and created an engaging, varied, and luxurious programme on Lake Como<\/strong><\/a>.
\n<\/p>\n

The wonders of Lake Como<\/h3>\n

We love Lake Como and the countryside that surrounds it, and we often choose it for our most prestigious events, both for the beauty of its landscapes and for the excellent choice of hospitality options in this area. On this occasion, we selected a beautiful historic building, which has been converted into a four-star hotel. Our guests stayed in superior rooms overlooking the lake and enjoyed breakfast in a stunning hall, decorated with ancient frescoes. We chose this facility because it combined excellent hospitality with a state-of-the-art, fully-equipped conference centre<\/strong>, which allowed us to manage the conference \u2013 which was the core of our event – efficiently and in compliance with all the health and safety regulations currently in place<\/strong>. We used the conference-call options offered by the facility to make sure that both the team members present at the event and those who were unable to join us due to the travel restrictions in their respective countries were able to take an active part in the event<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Italian-style team-building<\/h3>\n

Cooking classes<\/strong><\/a> are our passion, as well as many of our customer\u2019s favourite choice of team-building activities. Cooking together is a fantastic ice-breaker, it\u2019s shared fun, it\u2019s a fantastic opportunity to learn something new, to enhance teamwork, and it always ends with a shared meal, which is an added bonus. What could be better? In Como, we found the perfect cooking school, conveniently located close to the city centre. We had our guests learn a few Italian recipes to surprise their loved ones back home and they proved surprisingly talented and eager to learn.<\/p>\n

Motorboating on Lake Como: corporate travel made fun<\/h3>\n

While the first day\u2019s programme was dedicated to team building, for the second day we planned a wonderful motorboat excursion on Lake Como. Gliding over the lake, our guests were able to enjoy the beautiful landscape that surrounds it, with the majestic ancient villas that stretch along the shore, up to the beautiful lido of Cernobbio. Once we got there, we stopped for lunch by the lake. For the evening, we had planned something really special and unusual, the kind of experience that the CEOs of a large company don’t normally have. We reserved an entire go-kart track for our team, where our guests could race, letting out their healthy competitive spirit<\/strong>. We could consider this team building, but most of all we like to think our client\u2019s team members had a fantastic time.<\/p>\n
