Are we getting back to normal? It’s hard to tell. What is certain is that having solid and well-structured rules for events, such as those defined by the green pass, helps our entire sector to get back on its feet and helps our customers – that is, the brands that rely on event organization agencies such as our – to recover all those contacts that the absence of events had inevitably loosened. Because it is true that today almost everything can be done online<\/strong><\/a>, but the possibility of meeting in person to present a product, illustrate its functioning, converse with collaborators, distributors, commercial partners or the public adds an element of intensity and immediacy to the interaction that is inevitably lost remotely. For this reason we have started again with joy to organize events such as the meeting for the John Deere brand<\/a><\/strong>, one of the most important events that the company organizes annually at an international level, and which are indispensable for such a brand.

Our client: John Deere<\/h3>\n

John Deere is one of the largest international brands of agricultural machinery and vehicles, with offices in many different countries and, consequently, an extensive network of distributors and dealers around the world. When working with products of this kind, in a B2B market with such specific needs, the relationship with the distribution network is of vital importance and presenting new products – even if the actual presentation takes place on video – requires the possibility of direct confrontation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The event<\/h3>\n

The event we have organized was precisely a meeting with retailers and was made up of two parts. The first, very formal, included a meeting in which the new products of the range that is currently on the market were presented<\/strong> for the national and international market plus a discussion on the trend of the past year. The second part was instead more informal and designed to encourage human interactions: it was a buffet lunch in the garden<\/strong>, in a splendid location with open spaces that allowed safe interactions between all the participants.<\/p>\n

Safety, Green Pass and anti-Covid rules<\/h3>\n

The challenge, for some time now, has been known: to organize an event that respects all the very important anti-Covid regulations currently in force, but that is still enjoyable, that flows naturally and that allows all participants to enjoy the day and mutual interaction, to achieve the expected results, to solidify the relationships between the sales network and distribution. A convivial moment, from this point of view, is essential. For this reason we have kept it, but having the foresight to use only single-serving portions for catering<\/strong>, which the participants could enjoy in the garden and at a safe distance. Even inside the room, the rules were very strict: our staff checked the green passes and, to access the space, it was still necessary to wear a mask and the temperature was measured. Inside, every chair was placed at least a meter apart from each other.<\/p>\n

Conclusions<\/h3>\n

Is this our new normality? We do not know and we can only hope that things will become easier and easier along the way, but we are convinced that, in the meantime, it is important not to stop and continue to offer to our customers an effective, complete service, which helps them achieve their goals without compromising the enjoyment of the event and always – most importantly – in absolute safety.<\/p>\n
