Sustainability is the driving force behind the majority of our projects, and those who follow us can see how our network of customers and partners is a constellation that reaffirms this principle. In this regard, the inaugural edition of Future Workspace Week, an initiative by our client STIM Tech Group, provided the ideal setting. The unique container in which the client presented their vision and potential was a classic example. The event was held in Milan’s central Piazza XXV Aprile. Our client, who provides ICT solutions to transform innovation into business opportunities, was aiming for a successful pop-up venue and we were contracted as creative and technical-logistical consultants, providing additional mediation service. Our quest was to come up with the perfect solution to optimise the project\u2019s implementation and to assist the client in a series of intermediate bureaucratic steps.<\/p>\n

Gaining access to exclusive spaces: the right idea for the right proposal<\/h3>\n

It is not easy to open a pop-up store in the heart of a city like Milan. Because the municipality receives a large number of requests, there is limited room and it is extremely hard to reserve a spot. This can lead to long and complex negotiations that waste valuable time and can jeopardise the whole process\u2019 outcome.<\/p>\n

Public institutions, in particular, frequently favour culturally- or socially-relevant over businesses. As a result, in addition to all budget considerations, it is critical to identify the appropriate content for any pop-up venue that needs to be built in these exclusive locations. Then it is necessary to submit the required applications in time and take care of the complex bureaucracy that is tied to reserving public spaces in Italy – which can baffle all but the most accomplished event planners.
\nOur clients know they can rely on Smart Eventi to develop the right format<\/a><\/strong> to make the project appealing to the institutions in charge of public space management. We also provide technical assistance and mediation throughout the process.<\/p>\n

In this particular case, we did both. First, we devised the concept of using a container to house a Temporary Office that would serve as a meeting place, showcase and perfect example of what a smart collaboration space can be.<\/p>\n

The ultimate goal was to explore new ways of working in the digital transformation era, as well as bringing together suppliers, customers, partners, vendors, and everyone interested in the evolution of the hybrid workplace.

The future in a container and the project’s success<\/h3>\n

In addition to developing the container concept, which proved to be both visually appealing and functionally successful, we assisted the client with several steps that are necessary but frequently present a number of tricky challenges.<\/p>\n

We acted as advisors and mediators, thus lightening the load of technical and bureaucratic difficulties that would otherwise have made the client’s work much harder. With our assistance, they were able to focus on the presentation and proper showcasing of their outstanding idea.<\/p>\n

Throughout Future Workspace Week, the client\u2019s pop-up office was able to best represent their core service, i.e. the development and modernisation of each workspace through technology, to make everything easier, faster, more convenient, more interconnected, and more sustainable.<\/p>\n

This is also perfectly consistent with Smart Eventi’s philosophy<\/a><\/strong> of optimising user experience and redefining space in line with the new logic of the digital era.<\/p>\n
