In June this year we were tasked with planning a team building event for one of our clients corporate \u201cfamily day<\/strong>.\u201d This is an annual occurrence and also one of many events we went back to planning after two years of restrictions. The event was set to take place at the client’s headquarters, which happen to be located in an area with plenty of outdoor space for fun activities. We wanted to do something very unusual, engaging and dynamic. We wanted this team building<\/strong><\/a> to bring some inspiration and freshness into general boring routine at work and help create meaningful connections between the employees, their families, and the firm.<\/p>\n

Planning a team building event that everybody would remember<\/h3>\n

In the large empty lawn surrounding the company’s headquarters, we set up 12 stations with Challenge Activities and Perforamance Activities, inspired by the famous TV program “Jeux sans fronti\u00e8res” (“Games Without Borders.”)<\/p>\n

We had a a volleyball net, tug o’ war and even professional archery trainers and equipment for those who wanted to try their hand at shooting arrows.<\/p>\n

The activities were designed to help employees and their families get to know each other better and build their team spirit, but above all we wanted this day to be fun and carefree.<\/p>\n

Safe fun for the whole family!<\/h3>\n

In the evening, families joined the participants, so, in addition to team building, we also organized entertainment for the children, with a magician and a face painting station during dinner. We also ensured safety for everyone by hiring on-site medical personnel for emergencies. Although it was a very hot day, everyone had a safe and fun time.<\/p>\n

Conclusions<\/h3>\n

We achieved all the goals: we met the client’s requests for customization of activities, made the best possible use of their facilities, and planned a whole day of fun and sports for a large group of people under the hot Italian sun in perfect safety.<\/p>\n
