Our client Ener2Crowd<\/strong> organised a promotional tour dedicated to renewable energy sources, specifically the Casalbore Wind Farm. To finance this project, they launched a crowdfunding campaign and asked us to develop a unique marketing strategy<\/strong><\/a> to advertise it. We came up with a solution that generated an extraordinary level of interest in their project.<\/p>\n

The tour was aimed at raising awareness among residents of municipalities Casalbore, Ariano Irpino and Benevento about renewable energy and wind power. The client wanted to reach out to local residents and gain visibility for their crowdfunding campaign for this ambitious project.<\/p>\n

A challenging task: planning a promotional tour on a short notice<\/h3>\n

Promotional tours are projects that require a lot of preparation and organisation, therefore planning one to cover several towns in a short period of time is not easy. The three main challenges are finding the right team to manage it, selecting people that are good at communicating with each other, creating a collaborative atmosphere to foster teamwork between the organisation and its partners, and obtaining measurable results that can be objectively evaluated.<\/p>\n

How we did it<\/h3>\n

The tour was planned in detail by a team of professionals. The design and layout of communication materials (flyers, graphics for the marquees and booths, graphics for the cargo bikes and gadgets to distribute to the public), logistical organisation, management of personnel for each stage of the tour and preparation of detailed reports on results of individual days and the tour as a whole were all handled by our staff. Finally, we managed bureaucratic procedures for billposting and permits – always essential for events like this, which take place outdoors in Italian cities and require separate permits for each municipality. As part of the project, we also organised the actual street marketing campaign using cargo bikes, which were customised with promotional visuals and used by team members to ride through municipalities distributing information on renewable energy. This was the most engaging part of the entire operation and it brought the client’s message to the residents of the cities in which the tour was schedule to pass.<\/p>\n
