The \u201cRecycling Olympics<\/b>, a two-day event organised by GECO<\/strong><\/a> and Smart Eventi<\/strong><\/a> for Teknoservice<\/strong>, was a great success.
\nThe initiative, aimed at around 300 students in the area, focused on educating young people in a fun way about sustainability and correct waste disposal. For two days, the students engaged in practical and fun games<\/b> such as quizzes, the creation of videos, relay races and activities that involved turned waste materials into artworks.<\/b><\/p>\n

“Recycling Olympics”: A Huge Success<\/b><\/h3>\n

During the \u201cRecycling Olympics\u201d<\/b> we interviewed Najda Toniolo<\/strong>, head of environmental services at Covar 14<\/strong>, Silvia Miccoli<\/strong>, and Elisa Bonfanti<\/strong>, both communication managers for Teknoservice.<\/p>\n

The collaboration between local entities like Covar 14, companies like Teknoservice, and of course the citizens, who must be correctly informed about waste collection and recycling, is a key element in creating a sustainable and circular economy. Children and teenagers play a fundamental role in this.<\/p>\n

\u201c<\/b>This is why it is crucial to educate them about recycling from a young age and organise awareness-raising events about proper waste collection, like the one we organised together,\u201d<\/b> Toniolo emphasised, adding that the main message for the children who participated in the \u201cRecycling Olympics\u201d<\/b> is to \u201ckeep it up, continue with what they have learned, and especially help adults do the same.\u201d<\/p>\n

Miccoli also stressed that Teknoservice decided to organise the \u201cRecycling Olympics\u201d<\/b> because the company finds it very important to draw attention to the environment and engage the younger generations through \u201cgames and creative activities.\u201d<\/b><\/p>\n

The Benefits of the Right Synergy: \u201cAn Exceptional Result\u201d<\/b><\/h3>\n

When asked about the benefits and advantages of having a partner specialised in sustainable experiential activities<\/strong><\/a>, Bonfanti responded that the positive effects of this synergy were numerous: demonstrating a concrete commitment to environmental responsibility, and being able to organize innovative and original activities. \u201cThis allowed us to create a successful event,\u201d<\/b> she emphasised.<\/p>\n

The result was not guaranteed. An event as complex as this posed a challenge, given the high number of students involved. \u201cIt was the first time we tried to organise an event of this kind, but I have to say that with the professionalism and collaboration of GECO and Smart Eventi, we really achieved an exceptional result.
