Summer is the ideal season both for travel incentives and team building events. This summer we organised two separate corporate events with similar briefings: two short travel incentives in our beloved Milan, with elements of team building and a touch of luxury. One of the perks of our profession is that, having to plan new experiences for our clients every day, we learn to see the places we know with new eyes, every day. Milan is the perfect destination: it never ceases to surprise and amaze. This city can be explored from infinite angles and it holds endless surprises for everyone, even those who think they know all about it. Day one: fashion tours and vip experiences

The first day of our incentive package was dedicated almost entirely to shopping. Milan is, after all, one of the world’s fashion and shopping capitals and international visitors are drawn by the vast offer of designer stores. Our team was divided into four groups, each group exploring the fashion district with a personal shopper, looking for a specific style: casual men’s fashion, elegant men’s fashion, trendy women’s fashion and accessories. After their shopping trip, our guests enjoyed a delicious dinner at the STK restaurant and danced the night away in the vip area of the exclusive Just Cavalli club.

Day two: team building – learning, exploring… and cooking

Day two of our plan was set aside for training and team building. We wanted our guests to make memories, by sharing meaningful and enriching experiences. We started with a boat tour of the Navigli, with a guide explaining the peculiarities, history and features of this unique corner of Milan, which has undergone several major changes over the years. For the second half of the day, we planned an engaging afternoon of team cooking at Serendipico, a renowned restaurant in central Milan. Cooking together is an excellent team building exercise: it helps focus on shared goals and makes room for fun and mistakes, while offering authentic opportunities for learning and personal growth. And, of course, at the end of the day all participants get to taste their own creations.
