Why do we enjoy podcasts so much? Because they fulfil one of the pressing needs of our time: to be thoroughly and specifically informed, but also consume interesting and enjoyable content while going about our average, busy workday. Let’s take event professionals, for instance: our agenda is often packed with back-to-back meetings and appointments and our attention must be constantly focused on the projects we work on. At the same time, however, it is important to keep up to date with our industry, to catch new trends and technologies as they develop, so that we can always offer a top-quality service to our clients. How can we do that if we don’t have time to read in-depth articles, let alone books? Podcasts are a great answer, as they allow us to consume complex and detailed information in our spare time – while travelling by car or train, for istance. As we approach the end of this incredibly busy year, we want to share some of our favourite marketing and event-industry podcasts with you.
