In fact, this term has existed since at least 2014 and is used to define a combination of physical and digital elements that can enhance the event experience. This definition, therefore, embraces a variety of options that can apply to different types of events and that have the potential to drive the evolution of the entire industry towards a new phase of integration between technology and human experiences.
