Organizing an event in all aspects: the IAD Italia experience

Organizing and executing a complex event in all aspects: this is the task assigned to Smart by IAD Italia, an international real estate group with the goal of breaking down barriers between physical agency and client through quality digital services.

We immediately set to work to plan every aspect of the organization of CAP ML 2022, an internal meeting dedicated to all IAD Italia agents, happy to be able to operate at the highest level in what is our element. A lofty goal for a product that we wanted to be worthy of the customer’s trust.

The IAD Italia convention was a huge success in every way

The client expected a lot from us: location scouting, creative concept, event claim, graphics and content layout, audio, video, and lighting technical service, interactive content direction and proposal, high-level catering during the breaks, provision of the necessary personnel to manage the event and film the convention highlights (including hostesses, photographer, and video maker), and much more.

Organizing an event in all of its facets entails, above all, anticipating and mastering unknowns and a plethora of unexpected variables. This is why, like us, relying on those with experience, motivation, resources, and connections in this field is the best solution. All essential components for an event’s success. But how did we manage to make the IAD Italia event a success?

First and foremost, we began with the concept, which is critical for truly focusing the objective and channeling all efforts in the right direction, and with the claim, ‘CHANGE! ACTION! POWER.’ As a result, we decided to involve three of our operational units that have been a guarantee for the entire team for years: the team building area for creative content development, the GURU Marketing area for communication aspects, and the events area for organizational and logistical aspects.

We chose the Auditorium Testori as the venue because it required both excellent acoustics and modern design. The Auditorium, located on the ground floor of the Palazzo della Regione in Milan, is a spacious and highly functional space, outfitted with new technologies, beautifully finished, and only a short walk from Milan’s central station. Perfect for the type of convention we were planning.

A flawless event, with no need to organize anything: we took care of everything!

The rest of the work was completed flawlessly and on time, as agreed upon with the client. Despite the tight schedule, we were able to include a moment of entertainment with the Drum Circle activity, a musical team-building activity that livened up the entire meeting, creating a lively and engaging environment for the team members.

Our client was particularly pleased with the final product, as well as the organization and management of all phases of the convention, and Smart Eventi was delighted to be able to operate in a sector where it could express itself to the best of its abilities, resources, and motivation.

That is why our team remains a point of reference for anyone who wants to put on an event but does not know how, does not have the right idea, or does not have the necessary resources to turn a good intuition into a concrete plan for a successful event.
