Team building on Lake Como: a 007-inspired treasure hunt

We set up a 007-themed scavenger hunt in the picturesque setting of Lake Como for our most recent team-building activity for a new client.

We designed a format with a variety of challenges to test each group’s abilities, including photographic tests, videos, and quizzes, in order to make the activity as engaging as possible. Then, participants put themselves in the shoes of actual secret agents and prepared to tackle each assignment.

A thrilling secret mission

To get their engines warmed up, the teams began with some easy tests along the Como lakefront. They then proceeded to the pier, where they discovered a pleasant surprise: a speedboat with a skipper on board, ready to pick them up and take them on a secret mission to a brand-new adventure!

Team members underwent a variety of challenges during the course on Lake Como, sometimes helping themselves to the supplies in the bag that was provided to them at the start, such as binoculars and a map to help them get their bearings. While they were “sailing” on Lake Como, the skipper told them interesting facts about the villas they could see.

The journey came to an end in Bellagio, where more challenges were set up. These included having access to a trunk full of accessories that could be used to create the next Bond movie’s trailer and a section of riddles that participants had to solve as many of in the allotted amount of time.

The viewing of a video highlight of the experience, created from the images and video captured by the teams participating in the internal team building, brought this day, which was teeming with adrenaline and cohesion, to a close. The winning team was then determined based on their performance in each mission.
