Corporate kick offs have gone through a real shift since the pandemic, marking the end of endless slide decks and one-way speeches. In truth, those formats never did much to hold attention or help employees refocus on the work ahead. What changed with the health crisis was that old habits broke down, and once the emergency phase was over, they were replaced by formats better suited to restarting after the summer break and rekindling a sense of belonging. The goal is no longer just to announce targets; what matters is providing stimuli that spark ideas and strengthen connections.
