The American Express Global Meetings and Events Forecast 2023 saw 60% of event planners expressing significant optimism and predicts that the trend of recovery for in-person events, which recorded a 6% increase this year, will continue into 2024. For the upcoming year, the industry is gearing up to blend creativity, technology, and innovation in the right proportions, leveraging techniques and tools that professionals have been successfully using. Here are a few tips to kick-start on the right foot!

Events in 2024: green light for multisensory experiences

Technological progress has now made possibilities in event planning extend far beyond traditional experiences. We’re no longer talking about unexplored frontiers, but rather about easily accessible tools with guaranteed outcomes.

A particularly engaging atmosphere can be created, for instance, through 3D projection mapping, holographic displays, and surround sound audio systems for fully immersive audio-visual experiences, or through interactive installations or augmented and virtual reality experiences.
