Office traffic thins out noticeably around mid-July, with half the inboxes carrying an out-of-office reply and meetings somehow finishing earlier than scheduled. Plenty of businesses treat this lull as dead time, something to sit through before the September sprint kicks back into gear. That’s a missed trick, because the warmer months hand companies one of the best windows all year for investing in their people, and summer team building plays a central role in making that happen.
