On-site audit: sustainability applied to a real event

The assessment took place during a gala dinner for 60 guests, organised by Smart Eventi for an international client at a stunning museum venue—one of Milan’s most iconic locations.

The audit highlighted several strengths in our approach, from logistics planning to supplier and materials management. Every detail was carefully considered, with meticulous planning to ensure the event was both effective and sustainable. The end result exceeded expectations.

The venue was fully accessible, barrier-free, and reachable by public transport and train. It also demonstrated ESG commitment and supported values such as gender equality and transparency in communication.

For the catering, we partnered with a long-standing sustainable supplier. Smart Eventi’s ability to collaborate with entrepreneurs who champion environmental and social responsibility only strengthens our contribution to building a more accountable ecosystem.

Décor focused on seasonal flowers and local or national suppliers, and the event—from planning to entertainment—was designed with a strong emphasis on waste reduction and minimal environmental impact.
