Building bicycles to donate to children in foster care

Given the size of the team, CBRE values regular in-person events to help employees — especially new joiners — build relationships. For their latest gathering, they wanted an initiative with social value. Together with Smart Eventi, they organized a team building event centered around assembling bicycles to be donated to children. The offices were fully set up to host the activity, including a “market” of parts and a station for hand-written cards. Teams raced to build the bikes and crafted personal messages for the recipients. A representative from Fondazione Rava shared the mission of the children’s home receiving the bikes, giving purpose to the day. The result was a widely attended and meaningful event.
