Full operational management and institutional logistics

Promoted with the collaboration of Regione Lombardia and hosted in a prestigious historic palace in Milano, the Forum was designed to bring institutions, industry and academia into structured dialogue leading to operational decisions. The presence of national government officials, European representatives and strategic stakeholders required institutional event management at the highest level. Smart Eventi’s ISO 20121 certification was therefore assessed as a concrete guarantee of methodological rigour, process reliability and organisational solidity.

The Milanese venue served as both symbolic headquarters and operational centre of the Forum. Smart Eventi assumed full responsibility for delivering the Green Building Forum Italia 2025, managing catering, technical production and staging, simultaneous interpretation, hostess and steward services, and preparation of the mandatory DUVRI risk assessment through a specialised supplier.

Institutional logistics required precise coordination, particularly in relation to security procedures, transfers and reception for senior state officials. Continuous supervision of all suppliers ensured consistency throughout plenary sessions and thematic round tables focused on innovation, finance and governance, alongside formal institutional meetings.

High level participation and measurable outcomes

Held in Milan in October 2025, the Forum brought together senior representatives of government, European institutions, and local authorities to examine data, tools and governance models aimed at making the transition of the built environment measurable, verifiable and financially viable.

Strict management of access and institutional protocols ensured continuity throughout the programme and preserved the pace of the proceedings. Central outputs included the Industry Report Roadmap for Italy, together with technical sessions dedicated to Whole Life Carbon assessment and Taxonomy Verification.

A structural foundation for future editions

The Green Building Forum Italia 2025 established a clear organisational and institutional framework for future editions, confirming Italy’s capacity to convene high level decision makers around building decarbonisation within a structured and operationally reliable format.

Through integrated technical delivery and consistent institutional management, Smart Eventi created the conditions required for sustained national dialogue on sustainable construction. The Forum now stands as a reference point for policy alignment, investment planning and collaborative action in the transformation of Italy’s built environment.
