When the Salone del Mobile first began in 1961, it was an exhibition dedicated exclusively to furniture, designed to showcase the excellence of what is known as “Made in Italy” — a vision further reaffirmed by Fuorisalone 2026. Today, walking through Milan during Design Week, the entire city becomes an international showcase where ideas take shape in multiple directions, reflecting and driving innovation across the sector.
