Italy’s green pass policy: how is it affecting events?

Once again, the management of the pandemic situation calls for flexibility on our part as event planners. The emergence of variants and the less than optimal progress of the vaccination campaign have slowed down the return to normality that we had all hoped for in the summer. In Italy, this new situation has been addressed by the government with precise rules that affect many activities and are particularly important for the events industry. It is still possible to organise conferences, exhibitions, fashion shows, and events of all kinds, but it is essential to comply with the rules currently in force, particularly those mandating the use of the so-called “green pass”. Here is a general overview of the government’s guidelines and how they apply to the work of event organisers.
