As the fashion world eagerly awaits the arrival of Milan Fashion Week 2024, the air is thick with anticipation. From the 17th to the 23rd of September, the style capital of Italy will once again take centre stage, showcasing the finest in Spring/Summer 2025 womenswear. Milan Fashion Week, September 2024: A Calendar Full of Events
The festivities will kick off with the grand opening of the CNMI Fashion Hub at Palazzo Giureconsulti in Piazza Mercanti 2. On the first day, shows by various designers including Fendi and Alberta Ferretti will follow, with the evening featuring the tenth edition of “Milano Moda Graduate,” a show dedicated to Italian fashion schools and universities. Starting from Wednesday the 18th, approximately eleven shows will take place each day, while Sunday the 22nd will be entirely dedicated to virtual shows and the CNMI Sustainable Awards 2024.
Gucci’s Highly Anticipated Debut
One of the most eagerly anticipated moments of Milan Fashion Week 2024 will undoubtedly be the Gucci runway show. All eyes will be on the Italian powerhouse as it unveils its first collection under the creative direction of Sabato De Sarno, following the departure of the legendary Alessandro Michele. Fashion enthusiasts are eager to see how De Sarno will put his own distinctive stamp on the iconic brand, and the industry is abuzz with speculation about the direction he will take.
